Day 4 of iTunes Match uploading songs to the ether.
I learned while taking a walk last night that apparently I can’t buy a song on my phone while the computer (at home) is uploading.
Seems like a bug and not a feature.
There is also no clear way to see (on a phone) only the songs that are local to that phone.
That seems like a glaring omission.
As part of moving off Dropbox, I wanted to put my music somewhere I could share between two computers. Previously, I’d done some dumb tricks with `ln -s` to sync the Music folder, which had all kinds of lost/duplicated track bugs. Giving iTunes Match a try: my iMac is still uploading to outer space, but it was already pretty satisfying to quickly download and start listening to Christoph De Babalon on an otherwise music-less laptop.
